Below are the steps we take to complete a SMART repair. This method allows us to fix small to medium damage such as scratches, scuffs, and dents without the need for costly bodyshop work. Each repair is carefully assessed, prepped, colour-matched, and finished using professional tools and paint systems — ensuring a seamless, long-lasting result every time.
STAGE 1
We start by carefully assessing the damage and cleaning the affected area to prepare it for repair. This ensures a smooth, contaminant-free surface for the best finish.
STAGE 2
Next, we sand down the damaged area to remove imperfections, scratches, and dents. Any remaining marks are filled and shaped to restore the panel’s natural contour.
STAGE 3
Once the surface is smooth, we apply primer to seal and protect the repaired area. This step prevents any reactions with the paint and creates the perfect base for colour application.
STAGE 4
After the primer has been prepared, we colour-match and blend the paint to your vehicle’s exact shade. Finally, we apply clear lacquer and polish the area to achieve a high-gloss, factory-quality finish.
